Copy of the Pierre Donzelague harpsichord of 1711 after the plan by Chistopher Nobbs. I built this instrument in 1998.
It has 2 manuals with the normal French disposition of 2×8’, 1×4’, shove coupler and a buff stop which can operate on either 8’.
The soundboard was decorated with sea side plants by Camilla Comeau.
The jacks are Bolton plastic ones with delrin plectra.
Case is of poplar with lime framing.
The keyboards slide sideways for transposing the pitch to A392, A415 and A440.
