Single manual harpsichord in very good condition. A440Hz. (Hasn't been played for about 18 months).

Really nice sound. Ideal for continuo or solo playing.

Price includes quilted transporting case (made for this instrument).

The instrument is in Brighton. You are very welcome to come and play it. (Come for a day out by the sea!)

Single manual harpsichord in very good condition. Deep red exterior with marbling details. Very attractive sound, ideal for continuo or solo use. C-e’’’ compass Specification: (2x8’) transposing A415/ A440Hz .

Built by Darryl Martin in Edinburgh in 1991, modelled on Gregori instrument of c.1736. Purpose built Savage and Hoy quilted transporting case available with instrument. Instrument currently in Walthamstow, available to play. Guide price- £4,000.

FF-f''', shove coupler, three-way transposer (392/415/440)
2 x 8', 1 x 4', buff (can be set up for front or rear 8')
Swainson wooden jacks, Rose brass and iron wire, Dave Law flat head pins
Table-type stand with 6 tapered legs
Deep blue exterior with extensive gold leaf on stand top and legs
Red interior with gold leaf banding to main lid sections and mouldings in the key-well
Fitted heavy-duty cover by Samantha Worthington
Extensively serviced, set up, and transposer added by Andrew Wooderson in 2008
Re-voiced in white delrin by Edmund Pickering in 2008

based on Andreas Ruckers, 1640/48.
 
GG - d3 (56 notes), 1 x 8ft plus 1 x 4ft (can be transposed to A440Hz), with buff (harp) stop, wooden jacks (Swainson), Swiss white spruce sound board,
bone naturals, fumed oak sharps, handsomely painted soundboard, painted case with gold leaf bands, traditional hinges (David Law), turned stand
with matching bench.  Exceptional tone.  This instrument has had some limited professional use but has not had an owner.  Reduced to sell, £9000

Beautifully painted lid with gilt parchment rose and sumptuously painted soundhole surround. Gold-leafed arabesques at base of dark green case and sits on a stretcher frame with helical carved legs. Comes with a lightweight padded cover and is tuned at A415 (non transposing)
