A FESTIVAL OF BAROQUE MUSIC
In 1853 the Fathers of the Brompton Oratory built the beautiful
Little Oratory to be their private chapel, and last autumn they
undertook a detailed restoration. The festival, which enjoys its
superb acoustic, has featured keyboard players such as Carole
Cerasi, James Johnstone and Julian Perkins. This year John
McGreal, Organist of the Brompton Oratory, will be joined
(amongst others) by Sophie Yates, Stephen Devine and Nicholas
Parle. Please come to the Oratory in South Kensington, London,
to hear ensembles and harpsichord soloists who specialise in the
performance of baroque music. Concerts take place every
Thursday in April (7th, 14th, 21st & 28th) at 7.30pm:
tickets £10. Enquiries: +44 (0)20 8540 6562.
