| Splendid double-manual harpsichord by Peter Bavington Based on a Taskin/Goermans instrument, beautifully made in 1997. Size 2365mm x 935mm. 2 x 8ft stops; 1 x 4 ft stop + buff stop. Shove coupler. Compass: FF-g3. Keyboard can slide to provide A = 440Hz, A = 415Hz, or A = 392Hz. The case, stand and folding music desk are painted in dark green with bands of gold leaf. | ZUCKERMANN ITALIAN SINGLE MANUAL HARPSICHORD There are two 8 ft stops and a buff. The instrument is in excellent condition, and was professionally built in the mid 1970s. The compass is BB to f. The 'white' notes are made out of pear wood. The case is coloured turquoise, and has pretty turned legs. The harpsichord comes with a turquoise standard lamp. Two years ago the instrument was valued at £1,500.
