This is a full-size instrument, about 25 years old, made by John Watkins partly from wood off his own farm. It is no longer in playable condition and could form a project for renovation. It has no lid.

Very stable, in impeccable condition, with a bold beautiful sound. Built from a Zuckerman kit by professional keyboard technicians (David and Dick Sorensen, of Minneapolis) and a professional cabinetmaker, completed in 1995. Further refinement and improvements by noted early keyboard builder David Sutherland (Ann Arbor), with Barbara Weiss.
Cherry veneer, fluted legs and paneled lid. Ebony naturals with bone capped sharps, knee levers, and moderator.

Upgrades include graphited bridges for easier tuning, and set screws (use a small allen wrench) in the action to make regulation easier. Includes soft case.
